Jack The Gripper
This is my new personal hard-surface project. It contains an exploration of form, function, and utilitarian DIY design. I wanted to merge my electromechanical engineering roots with industrial body-horror - creating an aggressively rational mechanism that replaces a human arm not with biology, but with a cold, calculated set of power-tool functions.

It’s also a piece of fan art inspired by "Off The Grid", a project I had a great time working on. A special thanks to the HR and Finance teams for the motivation and inspiration. The design of this weapon was conceived as non-lethal, meant to inflict psychological rather than physical damage.

I’ve always found it fascinating to explore where inspiration actually comes from, so I’ll be diving deep into the artistic, philosophical, and mechanical reasoning behind this design.
